We aim for woodlands to remain vibrant, safe, and productive spaces, where mushrooms and truffles continue to be an integral part of our culture and rural economy.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1cd6f6b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1cd6f6b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To achieve this, FUNGIVERSO has designed forestry actions that combine the improvement of forest structure with the conservation of fungal habitats, contributing to wildfire prevention and the sustainability of resources.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c1e843c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c1e843c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">Within this framework, interventions have been carried out on <strong>40 hectares located in areas accessible for harvesting and with a high risk of wildfire<\/strong>, applying mycosilvicultural criteria that promote mushroom production and forest resilience. These actions took place in the municipalities of <strong>Loarre, San Mart\u00edn de la Virgen del Moncayo, A\u00f1\u00f3n de Moncayo, Orcajo, and Mosqueruela<\/strong>. Additionally, a second intervention was conducted on <strong>30 hectares in Mora de Rubielos<\/strong>, focused on the <strong>conservation and restoration of declining natural truffle habitats<\/strong>, ensuring the persistence of these ecosystems, which are key for biodiversity and the local economy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d2b73c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3d2b73c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Because caring for the forest today is planting the future: more biodiversity, greater safety, and more life for generations to come.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c787a0a e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"c787a0a\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ac01478 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ac01478\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Loarre (8,2 ha)<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b56701b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor translation-block\" data-id=\"b56701b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">Near the Loarre Castle, dense stands of Laricio pine have been managed to improve forest structure and reduce wildfire risk. This area, known for its high production of <strong><em>Lactarius deliciosus<\/em><\/strong> (saffron milk caps), is part of a regulated zone for mycological harvesting. The intervention involves thinning the trees, which will help maintain mushroom production and improve forest health. This area is highly valued by harvesters for species such as <strong><em>Amanita caesarea, Boletus aereus, Lactarius deliciosus, and Craterellus cornucopioides<\/em><\/strong>. The intervention involves thinning the pine forest, pruning, and pollarding holm oaks and sessile oaks. The intervention involves <strong>selective pollarding<\/strong>, thinning weaker shoots so that the stronger trees can grow better. The intervention involved <strong>selective pollarding<\/strong>, removing weaker shoots so that the more vigorous ones can grow better. The intervention involves removing some trees to achieve optimal forest density.
